The only Grocery store in Bakersfield that has only organic produce, Lassen's, although a small store by square footage, still matches the bigger health food stores in variety of products. They constantly change out their inventory and bring in the newest health foods and drinks. Their pre-made foods (including sushi) and juice bar tend to be very busy during lunch hours and unfortunately their check-out system isn't the most streamlined process. Great indian food. My favorite is the butter chicken. The lunch buffet is the best value, incredible for the money, always fresh. Dinner is good but you do pay for it and there is less variety than the buffet. - Marc Cooper
